At the turn of the
millennium, national metals manufacturer and distributor
Atlas Specialty
Metals
employed an ERP system that did not possess the capability to meet
business requirements in certain key business areas.
Initially, RAD
solutions was engaged to provide enhancements to Atlas’ existing
quality issues and complaints tracking database. However RAD
eventually partnered with Atlas to deliver applications for the
mission critical functions quotation logging, project management,
foreign exchange contracts management and personnel
development. tracking.
QuoteManager,
the quotation logging database developed by RAD, was employed
by all Atlas sales personnel and deployed on over 40 desktops
throughout Australia. RAD solutions continues to provide first and
second level support to users of these applications at all branches
via a VPN dial-in facility.
